Pedro Montenegro (UPORTO) and Gonçalo Ferreira (UPORTO) attended the RAILWAYS 2024 conference, held in Prague in early September. The communications presented by the researchers focused on damping estimation and revision of the acceleration limit – two of the project’s main topics.
The project coordinator, Pedro Montenegro, also delivered an invited lecture summarising the research done in UPORTO on train running safety, where the role of InBridge4EU was highlighted. The conference proceedings are available here.
