Earlier in June, Ronny Behnke (DB InfraGO AG) delivered a presentation at the 2024 edition of ECCOMAS (9th European Congress on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences and Engineering), which took place in Lisbon. The communication, titled “Level 2-Calculations of Dynamic Vehicle-Bridge Compatibility for Determining Permissible Speeds in the Railway Network (Germany)”, included preliminary results of InBridge4EU’s Work Package 1 (WP1).
WP1 is the work package that addresses the most work streams from the ERA technical note on TSI open points, being set to wrap up by August 2026. The method presented by the researchers is essential for the successful conclusion of these tasks.
