The InBridge4EU consortium met on 8–9 July 2026 at KTH in Stockholm, Sweden, for its sixth Regular Technical Meeting (RTM) and final project event. The two-day meeting brought together project partners, members of the Advisory Board, and external experts to review the project’s main achievements and discuss their implications for the future of railway bridge dynamics in Europe.
The event featured presentations covering the project’s key scientific and technical outcomes. Discussions focused on advances in the dynamic compatibility of European railway bridges and on recommendations aimed at improving current provisions for bridge dynamics in European standards and regulations.
The meeting also welcomed a highly specialised external audience working in the field of railway bridge dynamics, with around 20 participants attending in person and more than 40 joining online. Their contributions enriched discussions on the project’s findings and helped strengthen links between research, infrastructure managers, standardisation bodies and the wider railway sector.
As InBridge4EU approaches its conclusion, the consortium looks ahead to the publication of its final deliverables, which will soon be available here.
