Four papers related to InBridge4EU Work Packages were presented at the EVACES 2025 conference, held earlier this month in Porto, Portugal. The presentations integrated a special session called “Railway Bridges”, co-chaired by project participants Pedro Montenegro (UPORTO), Andreas Andersson (KTH), and Matthias Baeßler (BAM).
At the beginning of the session, Pedro Galvín (UdS) presented “Time-frequency analysis of railway bridges forced and free vibrations by wavelet transform”, an article in collaboration with UJI and NTNU. This was followed by Matthias Baeßler’s presentation “On the reassessment of bridge superstructure vibrations for high-speed traffic”, who also presented “Review of Ballasted Track Destabilization on Shake Table Tests” later. The fourth article related to the project was “Modal damping estimations of railway bridges under traffic excitation on InBridge4EU project”, presented by Etienne Laligant (AVLS), in collaboration with UPORTO.
